Conformance level

netik.dev and the client area, app.netik.co.il, are built and tested to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

The accessibility menu

Every page has an accessibility button in the bottom right corner. It opens a menu of display adjustments:

  • Larger text, up to 175% (up to 125% on a phone, so the page does not get cut off).
  • Dark contrast, light contrast, greyscale and inverted colours.
  • Text spacing, a plain font, highlighted links and highlighted headings.
  • A reading guide that follows the pointer.
  • Stopping motion and animations, a large mouse pointer and a strong keyboard focus outline.

The menu is built into the site, with no third-party code, and its settings are kept only in your browser. It is an addition, not a substitute: accessibility is built into the site's own code, and the site is accessible without the menu. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site has no animations even without touching the menu.

What we did on the site

  • Semantic HTML: headings in order, labelled navigation areas, tables with row and column headers, and a "skip to content" link at the start of every page.
  • Everything works with a keyboard, including choosing add-ons, switches, the order form and the accessibility menu, with a clear focus outline.
  • Colour contrast to level AA, and text you can zoom to 200% in the browser without losing content.
  • Touch targets of at least 44 pixels for buttons, fields and menus, and at least 24 pixels for every link (except links inside a sentence). The site is tested from 320 to 768 pixels wide and on a phone in landscape, with no sideways scrolling.
  • Form fields are labelled, and every error message is read out to screen readers.
  • Every image that carries information has a text description.

How we tested

Every page is tested automatically (axe, to WCAG 2.2 AA) at computer and phone widths, and by hand with the keyboard, in Chrome. The client area is tested the same way on its main screens. The site is built on standard HTML, so it should work in other browsers and screen readers too. If something does not work for you, we would like to know.

Known limitations

We do not know of accessibility problems on these pages. If you find one, please tell us.

Accessible service

We work mostly remotely: on the site, in the client area, by phone, on WhatsApp and by email. If you need information or a service in another way, for example a phone call instead of a form or a document in another format, just ask, and we will adjust. Meetings are arranged in advance; if you need an adjustment for a meeting, tell us when you book it.

Found a problem?

If something on the site or in the client area is not accessible to you, or you need an adjustment, contact us:

It helps to say which page, what you were trying to do, and which browser or assistive technology you used. We handle every report as soon as we can, and until the fix is done, we give you the information or the service another way.
